How the Pandemic is Changing Homeowner Preferences
|
According to a recent survey from the National Association of Realtors (NAR), nine in 10 Realtors® say their housing markets are in recovery mode, with many reporting their markets performing better now than a year ago. If you’ve followed along with our social media pages, you know that our local experts have consistently said that real estate would be one of the driving forces behind economic recovery, and we’ve certainly seen that here locally.
But while the market has remained active, the wants and needs of home buyers and sellers have changed dramatically. NAR also just released its annual profile of home buyers and sellers with a large focus on how COVID-19 has affected consumer activity. Let’s focus on pre-and post-pandemic trends over the past year and 6 ways the pandemic is changing the preferences of American homeowners.
Are you like a lot of Americans with changing preferences when it comes to housing and meeting one of your core needs? If so, or even if your wish list looks different than this, I’m here to help as your local trusted advisor. Let’s connect today. We’re always building to create the life you love.

Tricia King represented us in the sale of our house and thanks to her fantastic marketing program and direction we were under contract within 5 days. She made sure that every detail involved in the transaction was followed up on and there were no loose ends. She is extremely professional and I would use her again and again.
