Edith Palmer’s name has been synonymous with real estate on the Gulf Coast for more than three decades. She appreciates that homeownership is the American Dream at a higher level than most. Edith was born in Nurnberg, Germany. She attended the business college of Nurnberg until she fell in love with an American GI, Gerald Palmer.
Gerald and Edith married and settled in on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Together they raised a family and operated several successful businesses including a real estate brokerage. Since 1979 Edith has literally won every award that the Mississippi Gulf Coast Association of Realtors presents to its members. lifetime membership in the Top Producer Club's Round Table is what she is most proud of, second only to the hundreds of families she’s helped by and sell homes.
Edith often says, I’ve been in real estate since 1979 and I’ve loved every second of it. There is no sign of slowing down soon either. Edith realizes that the environment in real estate is ever-changing and staying current is a vital part of representing buyers and sellers. This year Edith’s granddaughter, Jennifer moved home to South Mississippi. Jennifer has been a Realtor in the Florida panhandle previously. Today they work as a team focusing on each of their strengths to ensure the most effect and pleasant experience for the client.
Edith considers her specialties: Traditional Buyer's and Seller’s representation. She is a long time certified Relocation agent on Gardner Realtors’ Relocation team and has certifications to handle bank-owned/ REO properties.
Her passion throughout her career and today remains helping someone purchase a home and fulfill their own American Dream.
